围裙比较常见的说法是apron，它是美式用语。如果是英式用语则更习惯把围裙叫做pinafore或是pinny。这里的pinny是非正式的口语用法，比pinafore随意一些。
系上围裙（穿围裙）或是摘下围裙（脱围裙），和我们穿脱衣服用到的动词词组是一致的：
·put on/get on 穿上（衣服）
·take off 脱掉（衣服）
