Teachers’ Day of ChinaIn China, teachers are held in high esteem. September 10th is the Teachers’ Day of China. This day is in honor of all those involved in the teaching profession.September 28th is the birthday of the world-famous teacher Confucius---KongZi. Kongzi is a great philosopher and he is also a great teacher. He had thousands of disciples (students), including Aristotle. In the ancient times, Kongzi’s birthday was regarded as a Teachers’ Day.Now, September 10th is the Teachers’ Day of China. In the year f 1984, Wang Zishen, former president of Beijing Normal University, suggested to establish a festival day for the Chinese teachers. Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Vice-President Zeng Qinghong also attended the celebration held in the Great Hall of the People. The state leaders warmly shook hands with the teachers and had a peicture taken with the group who were representatives of a conference commending outstanding teachers. Extending greetings to the representatives, all teachers and educational workers throughout the country and expressing his appreciation of the contributions they have made to the development of education, Hu said education constitutes the foundation under and propeller behind the overall strength of a country. He urged the Party and government to care for the well-being of teachers and educational workers and cultivate an atmosphere of respect for teachers and education.

September 10 is our Teachers’ Day. In the afternoon， Zhonghua school held a celebration meeting， at which more than twenty old teachers each were praised with a medal for their over thirty years of teaching. Im not that kind of student who good at English and learn very quickly.I cant say that I love English more than other subjects.Even I can say English is a headache for me in the passed days.
