The Miser, on his next visit, found the hole empty and began to tear his hair and to make loud lamentations. A neighbor, seeing him overcome with grief and learning the cause, said, "Pray do not grieve so; but go and take a stone, and place it in the hole, and fancy that the gold is still lying there. He thus addressed him:"Sirrah, last year you grossly insulted me." "Indeed," bleated the Lamb in a mournful tone of voice, "I was not then born." Then said the Wolf , "You feed in my pasture." "No, good sir," replied the Lamb, "I have not yet tasted grass." Again said the Wolf, "You drink of my well." "No," exclaimed the Lamb, "I never yet drank water, for as yet my mother's milk is both food and drink to me." Upon which the Wolf seized him and ate him up, saying, "Well! I won't remain supperless, even though you refute every one of my imputations." The Weasel refused, saying that he was by nature the enemy of all birds. The Bat assured him that he was not a bird, but a mouse, and thus was set free. Shortly afterwards the Bat again fell to the ground and was caught by another Weasel, whom he likewise entreated not to eat him. The Weasel said that he had a special hostility to mice. The Bat assured him that he was not a mouse, but a bat, and thus a second time escaped. There is a frog. He lives in a well and he never goes out of the well. He thinks the sky is as big as the mouth of the well.
One day a crow comes to the well. He sees the frog and says, “Frog, let’s have a talk.”
Then the frog asks, “Where are you from?”
“I fly from the sky,” the crow says.
The frog feels surprised and says, “The sky is only as big as the mouth of the well. How do you fly from the sky?”
The crow says, “The sky is very big. You always stay in the well, so you don’t know the world is big.”
The frog says, “I don’t believe.”
But the crow says, “You can come out and have a look by yourself.”
So the frog comes out from the well. He is very surprised. How big the world is!

A tiger is hungry, he is looking for food. He sees a frog in front of him.

“Haha! A frog! My dinner!” so he rushes at the frog.

Behind the tiger, there is a tortoise. The little tortoise sees it; he bites the tiger’s tail.

“Thank you, I like flying in the sky,” says the tortoise.

The tiger stops, “I will throw you into the river.”
老虎停下来：“那我就把你扔到到水里。”
“Oh, no! I can’t swim; I will die if you throw me into the water.” The tiger threw the tortoise into the water quickly.
“哦，不!我不会游泳，如果你把我扔井水里我会死的。”老虎很快就把乌龟仍进水了。
“Thank you, Mr. Tiger. Bye-bye.” The tortoise and the frog swim away together.
“谢谢你，老虎先生，再见!”乌龟和青蛙一起游走了。
