暮光之城是从英文“twilight”翻译来的，毕竟是电影和小说的名字嘛，自然就起的好听点喽~twilight：名词 n. 其中一个意思是：黄昏;黎明书中Edward说过：:"It’s twilight. It’s the safest time of day for us. The easiest time. But also the saddest, in a way…the end of another day, the return of the night. Darkness is so predictable, don’t you think?"而且从剧情来看，是在一个小城里展开的，为了更贴近气氛所以意译为“暮光之城”.大概的意思是说阴霾笼罩着这个暮光之城。暮光之城指的就是福克斯这所小镇。吸血鬼都是在夜间出没，也有这层意思~
