大家很多人都知道薯条的英文是“Chips”,美国人称之为“French Fries”,其实它真正的来源地是比利时。早在1680年的时候,比利时人就开始制作这种薯条了。
在第一次世界大战的时候,美国士兵在比利时吃到了这种薯条,觉得特别美味,从而变得流行起来。但他们想当然的称其为“French”,是因为当时在比利时军队中的通用语言是法语,他们就以为是“法国的薯条”了。
吃薯条注意事项
1、首先薯条油炸时间不宜过长。薯条中的糖类和氨基酸在油炸时会发生化学变化,产生潜在致癌物丙烯酰胺,且随着油炸时间延长、薯条脱水、颜色变深,丙烯酰胺的含量也会大幅上升。
2、尽管目前消费者摄入的丙烯酰胺的量不足以影响健康,但炸薯条的时间应当有所控制。家庭自制炸薯条时以薯条呈柠檬色为宜,金黄色亦可接受,避免炸成黄褐色。
3、薯条不宜多吃,薯条富含淀粉,经过油炸,表层酥脆,但油脂吸附较多,因此是典型的高能量食品。快餐店大包薯条的脂肪含量大约为25克左右,几乎是中国居民膳食指南中成年人一天的植物油推荐摄入量的上限。消费者应当注重膳食平衡,适当控制能量摄入并保持吃动平衡。
