我虽然不是英语专业的学生，但是有幸结识了一位英语专业的朋友。所以对于这个问题我想还是可以为题主解答的。我主要分为以下几个方面为题主解答。

1、英语专业学些什么？

在大学中我们学习的课程包括英语精读、英语听力、英语泛读、英语口语、英语语法、英语语音、英语写作与修辞、英语视听说、英语国家概况、翻译理论与技巧、高级英语、口译技巧、第二外语、商务英语、英美文学选读、语言学导论、英语词汇学、英语文体学、学术论文写作、外国报刊选读等等。在一些学校，会在大三选择分流，分别是翻译和商务英语两个方向。大部分人还是选择的是翻译。不过具体还是要看题主看哪个学校，关于这一点可以询问认识的学长学姐。

2、英语专业可以从事什么工作？

英语专业毕业生可以从事翻译、作外贸助理、作英语教师等工作。当然部分英语专业学生也可以选择考公务员这些，但是可能会比较难。像从事翻译这些工作，相信大家已经能明白具体怎样工作。其实和英语是语言工具，所以怎样去运用它是题主要在大学四年学习的东西。只要知识够扎实，不愁找不到工作。

3、英语专业前景怎么样？

英语专业的前景一般。在我看来，英语专业学习就要扎实，才能在一众人之间凸显出来。无论是已经毕业的学生，还是还在读书的同学，都开始注重第二语言，大多数人选择的都是英语，只有当学得足够好才能脱颖而出。英语这个专业不缺人去学习，但是缺少英语人才。英语在可能在未来会成为每一个人都会一点的技能，那个时候英语专业出来，学得一般的人，只能被迫淘汰。

师范英语，翻译英语，商业英语，英语教育，语言学等科目；非常好就业，但是想要找一份高薪的英语专业工作是十分难的，对专业要求非常高。

英语专业就是比别的专业的学生首先语言能力上更强，并且。女生比较多，感觉很好。
