关于“涨薪水”的英文表达：
1. Ask for more money
Ask for more money是一个比较简单和直接的表达。薪酬调查网站最近的一份调查中也用到“ask for more money”这个表达来表示加薪的意思：
“Regardless of their position, 36% of men say they always ask for more money when they feel they've earned it.”
不论处于何职位，有36%的男性表示，只要他们认为自己应该得到加薪，他们经常会提出要求。
2. You're worth more than you're making/ you are making less than you’re worth
“You're worth more than you're making”意思就是“你值得加薪”。
当你发现自己的工作能力远高于目前市场的薪资时（you are making less than you’re worth on the open market），你可以要求老板告诉你她对你工作的看法。
然后问他或她是否认为你值得增加报酬，这时你便可以用到以上两个句子。Make在这里表示“赚钱”（make money）的意思。
3. Ask for a pay/wage/salary increase
Pay,wage,salary都有薪水的意思，区别在于：
Salary指按月或按年支付的薪水（A salary is the money that someone earns each month or year from their employer.）
Wage按小时、日或周计算的工资，薪金 (Money you earn that is paid according to the number of hours, days, or weeks that you work.)
Pay包含salary和wage，为不可数名词，译为“工资，薪水”。(Your pay is the money that you get from your employer as wages or salary.)
