Play Game Makes Me RegretfulThe outbreak of Covid-19 has changed the way people live around the world. When it comes to the school, students have come up with the emergence of online courses, which is a new kind of learning where teenagers can get guidance from teachers remotely. However, I made a mistake in this period of online class.On a regular school day, Robin, Tony and I clicked on a game for entertainment in the middle of an online class because of the huge temptation of games. We grinned and cheered excitedly as we played the game. Unfortunately, one of us forgot to turn off the microphone while playing the game, and the sound became instantly perceptible. Thus it wasn't long before the teacher found out our mistake. Sweating and trembling, we were thinking carefully about the possible punishment for breaking classroom discipline, whereas the teacher just criticized us and taught us how to arrange our time properly. Indeed, when playing games, there’s no doubt that we would completely missed the knowledge points and it’s impossible for us to make progress like other students. Thanks to teacher’s advice, we realize our mistake and regret it very much.In conclusion, compared to the traditional face-to-face education, online learning limits the communication between students and teachers, which may lead to the unsatisfactory learning results. Therefore, students have to be more conscientious and focus during the online courses.
