胖的几种英语说法：
1、fat —— 肥的，肥胖的
fat可能是我们见过最多的形容胖的词了，但其实用它来说一个人胖并不是很礼貌哦。所以还是要避免去用的。不过我们可以用overweight来代替。比如：
My father is overweight. He decides to do more exercise to lose weight. 我的爸爸很胖，他决定多做运动来减肥。
不是所有的胖都能用overweight来形容。overweight通常指一个人体重超标。可还有一些人只是比瘦子多了一点肉而已。怎么说呢？
2、chubby —— 圆圆胖胖的，婴儿肥（baby fat）
这个词常用来形容小孩子，胖乎乎，肉嘟嘟的很可爱。也可以用来形容成年人。可以理解为婴儿肥的那种胖。For example:
(1). I am a little bit chubby. 我有一点胖乎乎的。
(2). Do you think I’m too chubby? 你觉得我是不是太胖了？
(3). My baby is very cute with chubby cheeks. 我宝宝的小脸肉嘟嘟的，非常可爱。
3、tubby —— 微胖，矮胖
说一个人tubby，这个人通常是矮矮的，胖胖的，可能还会有个大肚腩。这样的人也很常见，对吧。如：
The twelve-year-old boy grows tubby without exercise. 这个十二岁的男孩因为缺少锻炼越来越胖了。
4、chunky —— 壮实的，结实的
显然，这样身形的人也不能用瘦来形容，对吧。通常你们班里那些擅长体育运动的男生或女生都有着这样的身材。如：
My brother does workout every day. He is very chunky and healthy. 我弟弟每天健身，他非常壮实而且健康。
