敬老院当志愿者的英语作文
孟子说：老吾老以及人之老。这就要求我们不仅要尊敬自己的老人，还要尊敬社会上所有的老人。古往今来，我们有许许多多敬老爱老的故事：古有木兰代父从军、黄香扇枕温席、王祥卧冰求鲤、孟宗哭竹生笋的佳话；今有陈毅探母等感人肺腑、润人胸襟的故事。人人都会老，家家有老人，尊重老人，实际上就是尊我们自己！那一夜，流星划过，我匆匆许了个愿：世界和平。今晨，没有流星，却唤醒了我心底处最深的那份感动…….那天，我们踏上了前往大花岭敬老院的路程，把我们的爱和关怀分给那些需要关心的老人们。一路上的心情是兴奋、是激动…….我们带着所有的热情，开始了今天的敬老院之行。
那天我们都很开心，虽然在开心的和老人们交谈的过程中，听到他们的故事，感触很深，有心酸又有同情和欣慰。
