英语日记格式：
英语日记最重要的就是要正确书写日记的`格式，尤其是在考试中，日记的格式相当重要。英语日记的格式与汉语日记的格式大致相同，在每篇日记的第一行写上日期、星期和天气，接下来写内容。日期、星期和天气的书写要注意以下几个方面：
1. 年、月、日都写时，通常以月、日、年为顺序，月份可以缩写，日和年用逗号隔开。例如：December 18, 2003或者Dec. 18, 2003。
2. 如果要写星期，星期要紧挨日期，它既可以放在日期前面，也可以放在日期后面，星期也可以省略不写。星期和日期之间不用标点，但要空一格，星期也可缩写。例如：Thursday Dec. 18, 2003或Dec.18，2003 Thursday
3. 天气情况必不可少。天气一般用一个形容词如:Sunny, Fine, Rainy, Snowy等表示。天气通常位于日记的右上角。

This afternoon I went to play basketball with some of my good friends happily.
At the very beginning, I didn‘t want to go playing basketball though my friends invited me to. I was (had been) in a bad mood the whole afternoon because I didn‘t do well in the math exam. With their comfort and encouragement, I went with them. However, I was just one of the audience. I dare not have a try because I was afraid that I couldn‘t play well. Encouraged by my good friends, I picked up the basketball and played with them. And luckily I got scores. I felt very excited.
Now I have become cheerful and above all I‘ve regained self-confidence. I believe that the worst enemy in one‘s life is oneself. I shouldn‘t lose heart just because of one or two failures because I still have chances to try.
My favourite fruit is apples.Big apples are very sweet,but small appies are sour.They're sweet and tasty.My favourite apples are red and big.They are healthy and good for me.I don't like grapes. They're sour.

It was already late when we set out for the next town, fifteen miles away on the other side of the hills. It got dark soon; we drove fast along the narrow winding road that led to the hills. We couldnt identify any sign of the town marked on the map.
Suddenly the car stopped. We had run out of petrol. Therefore, although we had little food with us, we decided to spend the night in the car.
Our meal finished very soon. I went to sleep at once. But my companion Bill who was a poor sleeper went for a walk up the hills. From the top of the hill he saw the lights of the town we were looking for.
We unloaded all our luggage and pushed the car to the top of the hill at once. Then we went back to the luggage, loaded the car again and set off down the hill. We reached the town less than a quarter, and found a hotel quite easily.
