Something important of a couple There are a lot of standards such as economic status, a university degree, character, mutual love, apprance, courage, etc. when choosing a spouse.Lots of people may choose one of them as thier first priority. But I think the similar values is the most important thing when choosing a spouse. We known that a couple will understand each other easier if they have similar values. It means that there will be few quarrels in the marriage. So,a couple with similar values may feel quite happy. By the way ,I don't think a person who attaches importance to material conditions will find happiness. As we all known,a happy marriage is based on comprehend、trust and love. And only if two people with similar values will fall in love. Finally,I believe that those material conditions will be acquired by our endeavors. It's natural for people to give first priority to similar values in choosing a spouse.

When it comes to romance, women prefer someone who tickles their funny bone while men opt for those who catch their eye, according to an international survey. The survey, conducted in 16 countries by Canadian romance publisher Harlequin Enterprises, asked men and women on six continents about traits they liked or disliked and how they went about trying to meet Mr. or Ms. Right. The poll revealed differences between countries in the way people tried to impress the opposite *. Australians and British men frequently admitted drinking too much, while about half of German and Italian men said they had lied about their finances. Spaniards were the most likely to use * to catch someone's attention. Eighty percent of Brazilian and Mexican men said they had lied about their marital or relationship status, as did 70 percent of German women, the survey said.
