因为老外不说small knowledge，人家不这么组词，这是典型的中式英语。我估计你是要出个小板报什么的，“小知识”可以用"Tips"(这是复数形式的），也就是小贴士，小窍门的意思。例如学习小窍门就是“Study Tips"而common knowledge 或 common sense都是常识的意思。
