The Dragon Tower, Heilongjiang Broadcast and TVTower, 336 meters high, ranks the second highest in theworld and the first highest in Asia. It is a comprehensivemultifunctional tower that integrates transmission ofbroadcast and TV, tourism, sightseeing, food and beverageservice, advertisement propagation, environmental andmeteorological monitoring, microwave telecommunicationand wireless communication together.The total building area of the Dragon Tower is 16,600square meters. The tower base consists of the undergroundfloor and the first four floors above ground. The base ismade into a spherical crown. The tower body is built into aregular octagon. The tower appears to be a parabola. Thetower halls are located from 181m to 206m, consisting of aflying saucer in the bottom and a ball-shape hall on the top.The antenna is installed in elevation of 220.5m to 336m.The Dragon Tower is awarded the title of Grade-AAAA tourist scene by the State TourismAdministration.
