produce, product是同根词，它们译成汉语时往往都有生产、产品等意思，但他们之间有区别。
(1)produce作动词是生产、制造的意思，作名词用是产品、产物的意思，主要用于指农产品，为不可数名词。
eg:

These are the products of our factory.
这些是我们厂的产品。
Criminals are sometimes the product of bad home.
