Some students think that is very important to have an exam. If so, we know the results of our studies, and the exams also make us study hard.However, other students don’t think so. They say if they get high marks in the exams, they are very excited. But when they fail, they will be in very low spirits .What’s worse; they don’t usually take part in other extra-curricular activities. If the exams are prohibited, we don’t have to worry about the marks. In that case, we can choose the subjects we like, take part in more activities and learn more through social practice, which will greatly benefit us in the future.In my opinion, it is. But our exams should be reformed. It should test not only our knowledge, but also our practical abilities.

Dear Dad and Mum, I have received my middle-term examinations result.Now,I'd like to unveil it to you completely. First,I'd like to tell you my highest score I got in the examinations,I have scored 98 in my English midle-term exam.It's the highest score in our class.I guess you won't feel surprised because English is always my favorite subject. Secondly,I will tell you the rest of my major subjects.The score of my Chinese is 92,and I got 96 in my maths middle-term examination.In my opinion,my three major subjects are so so. Thirdly,I'd like to talk about the rest subjects.Firstly,I'd tell you the results of my liberal arts.The score of my history is 86,my geography is 90,and my politics is 88.Maybe they are not good in your eyes,however,my science subjects are even worse.I scored 81 in my physics test which is the highest score of the three.The score of my biology is 76,and my lowest score in all of the testing subject is got from my chemistry,the score is 63 which just passing the exam. I guess that you are surly not satisfied with such result of middle-term examinations.I will work harder in future and try my best to gain a better results in my later exams.
