Chances are that he or she isnttheperson responsible for the defective product or the poorservice.Often the people who take complaints are not the people incharge,unless youre dealing with a very small business. Yelling atthemisnt fair, and doesnt do anything to get a refund orsatisfactionfor you. You need to reach the person in charge. Thebest way todothat is in writing.Writing about your complaint andsending theletter registered mail also gives you written proof.Its clearthat you tried to settle the matter in a reasonablemanner within acertain time period. This way, if you need to takefurther action,you have physical evidence of your actions.Writing acomplaint hasthe advantages of organization, effectiveness, andfairness. Thatswhy I prefer to write rather than personallypresent my complaints.
