滑雪的基本要领

1：步行

穿上滑雪器最初的动作就是步行。其动作与一般的走路并没两样，开始时也许不习惯，可先穿上一只滑雪器来回走下两趟，而后再两只一起穿上，一步一仗的适应平衡。

2：跌倒

以侧身着地最为安全，亦即以大脚外侧，腰下侧着地，同时举起双雪杖并用力地将两脚伸直，以防不必要之受伤。

3：方向变换

以滑雪器之前端或尾端为圆心，将欲转变方向内侧之滑雪器，向欲转换方向分开成V字形，再将外侧雪器靠拢过来。本方向变换仅适合于平坦的雪面上进行，若是于斜坡上则不适用。

4：登行

最简单的方法就是坐缆车上山。可是台湾的滑雪场通常没有好的缆车，此时最方便的做法就是把滑雪器脱掉，扛着滑雪器走上去，若是再懒惰一点，也可以穿着滑雪器往山上走，要领就是把持滑雪器与斜坡成90度，以防止滑雪器自动滑下去。

5：平地滑行

两脚平行站立，利用手腕力量将两雪杖向后推动，使身体和两滑雪器同时向前滑行前进。身体重心不可置于后，否则会有身体后倾的情况发生，那可是会导致后坐跌倒的。
