China is my motherland that is a great country. It has a long history of more than five thousand years. It’s one of the Four Great Ancient Civilized Nations in the world and it’s the only one that still exists. Moreover, it’s a modern country now. In the past sixty years, China has greatly changed and is one of the fastest growing countries in the world. People’s life standards have been increasingly improved that no one could imagine before.

中国是我的祖国，是一个伟大的国家。它有五千多年的悠久历史。它是世界上四大文明古国之一，也是唯一现存的文明古国。因此，我们的祖先留下了许多辉煌的遗产，如造纸、火药、指南针等。

而且，它现在是一个现代化的国家。在过去的六十年里，中国发生了巨大的变化，是世界上发展最快的国家之一。人们的生活水平日益提高，这是以前任何人都无法想象的。
