A Present For Mom Mom’s birthday is coming soon,and I want to give her a bicycle as a present for her birthday. Mom works in a supermarket,and it is about 45 minutes’ walk from our flat.Every day she spends about 45 minutes walking to her work place because there are no bus lines near our neighbourhood.Besides,she wants to save up for my future education in a senior high school. During the spring festival this year,I got a few red packets,so I would like to get a bicycle for my mom.I hope she will like it. 这样的长度和难度可以吗? Reading brings me happiness Reading is an indispensable part of my life because it brings me enormous happiness.Undoubtedly,reading can broaden our mind,widen our sight as well as enrich our knowledge.Most importantly,we may well tell right from wrong gradually through reading.In my opinion,reading is really of great benefit and I will always keep the habit of reading. The way to keep healthy It's certainly important to keep us healthy.Here are some things that we can do to stay healthy.First of all,we should drink more water every day,eat more vegetables and fruit.We also need to exercise more.As teenagers,we need to have no less than eight hours sleep every day.To get good sleep,we shouldn't drink coffee or tea before sleep.One more important thing is not to eat too many sweets.Last but not the least,don't make yourself too tired anyway. If we bear all the above points in mind,I'm sure we'll all have good health. What is my favourite teacher like?Why? Among all the teachers,I like my English teacher best.She's pretty and friendly.She speaks beautiful English,her classes are great fun.We always listen to nice English songs and chants.We often have games and competitions in her class.She always encourages us to practise more.As a result,we've all made great progress and really love learning English.I'm really lucky to have such an amazing English teacher and I will try to be a good teacher like her in the future. Shanghai,the best city I know My parents are construction engineers,and their jobs take them wherever they are needed,usually from one city to another.I am their only child and live with them.In the past 15 years I have lived in quite a few cities,and of them all I find Shanghai to be the best. Here in Shanghai I have got very good teachers.Not only do they have a good command of their work subject,but they are also good at teaching us students.Besides,they are very kind and friendly though a bit stricter.With their help,I have made much progress in my school work.I also have very good classmates,who are friendly,understanding and always ready to help me when I am in trouble.All this happens because I live in Shanghai,a fast growing city.I am proud of living in the best city I know.(150 words)

Hello everyone. My name is .... I am a student of Grade eight . I am an outgoing , lovely girl and I am so welcomed by my friends and my classmates. I have a best friend, xiao hai. She is very interesting and lovely too. She often tells funny stories and always make me laugh. We often play together. I like action movies. I think they are exciting and interesting. I often go to the movies with my friends on weekends. I can aslo play the violin and have won many prizes in the competitions. I take violin lessons twice a week. It is a little hard for me but I am very happy , because I have a dream. I want to be a great violinist one day. Thank you.
