although和despite的区别有：
although的语气较重，despite相比较轻。
although只能是从属连词，而despite可以作为介词和名词使用。
although可置于句首(此时多用逗号与主句分开),也可置于句末(此时用不用逗号均可),也可用于句中表强调。而despite多用于句中和句首。
