在英式英语中二月一日的两种表达方式为：
the first of February先日后月
February the first先月后日
在书写时，可采用简写形式。
如 :可写为（the) 1(st) Feburary ， 但读时仍要读作 the first of February
同理 February (the) 1(st)，读时读作 February the first
在美国英语中，通常只采用一种表达法：月日
如：February first 可写为 February 1(st) 读作 February first
英语时间表达法可以分为：直接表达法,介词表达法和整点表达法。
一、直接表达法：就是先说小时再说分钟；
比如：2：10 可以说 two ten。
二、介词表达法又可以分为两种：但要注意先说分钟介词放中间再说小时。没超过30分钟用past，翻译成“几点。过几分” ；
如：2：10 要说成 ten past two
如果是正好是30分钟,要用half past。
如：2：30 要说成 half past ten。
超过30分要用to, 翻译成“差几分几点”。
如：5：50 翻译成“差十分六点”所以要说成 ten to six。
三．整点表达法：就是在数字后加上o’clock。
如：8：00 要说成 eight o’clock。
