2、还有一种表示年的方法1990s,常在考题中见到，1900s或者1900's代表1990年-1999年，这一段时期统称为20世纪。其中的后缀s，表示年代。

20世纪就可以表达为：1990s或者1990's，也可以表达为：20th century。同理其他年份。

如：20世纪90年代，表达为：1990s.

20世纪60年代，表达为：1960s.

19世纪90年代，表达为：1890s.

注意，表达：在...年代时，“in the年s”年代前一定要加the。

如：in the 1990s，意为在二十世纪九十年代。
