During the summer holidaythe weather was very very hot. But some times it was rainy. I went to my grandparents' home and we stayed in their home for seven days. I think travel is the most interesting .On the first day,I visited different places .They were beautiful . i played a lot . When i hungry i went to a restaurant and ate good food .They were very yummy .On the second day i went to Ocean Park .i watch many funny shows .And took many pictures, too.i was so excited . I went to a shop and bought some beautiful presents for my grandpa and friends. So that's interesting for me。

Is there really love at first sight? Like the moment you see that one person you know that that's the person? That he/she is the one you are gonna marry someday? Can you really see a person and know that he or she is the right person for you? How can you just met someone and know that that's the person you wanna spend the rest of your life with?Could love at first sight be confused with infatuation? I mean you gotta start off with something! I say it could be infatuation because love at first sight is not that you get to know that person first or get to know them too well first. But it is from just one look, that you just knew.Now is there really love at first sight? I do believe, that love at first sight is what most couples like to say. Love develops overtime, and I do believe that you don't just see that person and know that he/she is the right person. But I think most couples loves to say “it's a love at first sight!” I think the reason they say love at first sight, is because you can know a person your whole life without knowing that he/she will be you significant other someday. You can know them but didn't really have any connection with them until later on in life you realize it. It can be based on your differences and all the things you have in mon. And I think the reason they say it was a love at first sight was because the moment they saw that one person they really liked them or they fell in love with their beauty or whatever it is that is striking to them. But I don't believe you can just see a person and know that they are right for you. You can ofcourse, met someone and fall in love with them. And at sometime in your relationship when you really know that person, you can know that it is what you want or not. I mean, that is why breakups and divorces exist, right? People love and sometimes fall out of love. And sometimes, they fall in love and fall deeper than the younger days. I do believe that couples that fell in love with eachother at first sight and still have a love still surviving are the one that can say that it was all love in at first sight.。

1.I was quite excited when I heard the Asian Winter Games will be held in the city I live. My name is Li Hua. I am an 18-year-old boy student in a senior middle school. And I want to be a volunteer for the games. I like English and sports very much. I like making friends and I am ready to help others. I can be a good interpreter in every sports during the time. My School life

My name is Beth. I\'m 14 years old, and I study in No. 1 Middle School of Hui\'an. My school is very big and beautiful. I\'m very happy in the school.

I usually get up at 6:15 in the morning. then I do morning exercises in the playground. At 6:40, I have my breakfast. You can see many students and teachers in the dinning room. After breakfast, I often read English with my clas *** ates.

We have six classes every day. the first class begins at 7:50 am. I like all the classes, because my teachers can make the classes lively and interesting. My favorite subject is English, so I join English Corner every week. I can speak English with many other students there. It\'s very interesting and exciting. I think it\'s helpful for me to learn English well. After class, I always play games with my friends. We play basketball, soccer ball, volleyball, ping-pong and so on. they are very relaxing.

I like my lessons, my friends and my teachers. In a word, I love my school. I find my school life is more and more meaningful and colorful. My school life is wonderful, isn\'t it?

My Family

Everyone has a family. We live in it and feel very warm. There are three persons in my family, my mother, father and I. We live together very happily and there are many interesting stories about my family.

My father is a hard-working man. He works as a doctor. He always tries his best to help every, patient and make patients fortable. But soimes he works so hard that he can't remember the date.

My mother is a woman with a bad memory. She always does a lot of housework, but sometimes she makes mistakes out of carelessness. For example, one day, she washed clothes in the washer, after the washer finished the work, she found she hadn't filled the washer with water.

Now let me tell you a funny thing: one day, father wanted to get up early as usual, buthe wasn't able to do that, because he hadn't set the alarm clock the night before, so when he got up, he did everything in a hurry. After father left, mother said to me mysteriously, "He will e back soon." "Why?" I was greatly surprised. "Because today is Sunday, his holiday!" Just as mother said, father came back home soon, and went to bed again--he was too tired.

You see, what an interesting family have! I hope that you will have one like mine, too.

我妈妈是一位记性很不好的人。她总是做很多家务活，但有时却因为她的粗心而做错事。比如说，有一天，她用洗衣机洗衣服，最后却发现自己忘了在洗衣机中放水。现在让我告诉你一件有趣的事：一天，爸爸想像平常一样早起，但是由于他前天没有设置闹钟，所以他起晚了，当他起床时，他匆匆忙忙地洗漱完毕就去上班了，爸爸离开后，妈妈神秘地对我说：“他一会儿一定会回来的。”“为什么？”我十分惊讶。“因为今天是星期天，他的假日。”妈妈正说着的时候，不一会儿，爸爸就回来了，并且再一次上床睡觉了——因为他太累了。

My Dear Mother

My mother is a kind and gentle woman. She is always very gentle. She takes good care of her children and keeps them all at school. I have o brothers and o sisters. So she gets five children in all. She gives us every fort we need. We all love her very much. My mother has too much to do in bring us up. As our family is not rich enough, my mother always hits to do a lot of work. She gets up very early and sleeps very late every day. She works very hard, yet without plaining.

My mother is also a thrifty and industrious woman. She saves every penny that she can to keep everything in order. As she has been busy ever since she was young, she looks older than she really is. Her face is wrinkled, her hair bees silver white, some of her teeth bee movable. But she works as hard as ever.

My mother often says to us," work while you work, play while you play. If you did not work, you will bee lazy and of no use to the society." What a good piece of advice it is! We must worth it well and always keep it in our minds.

How I Spent My Summer VacationThe summer vacation had e round again. I was happy that I could fet about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.How I Spent My Summer Vacation(2)Summer can be very hot in southern Taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my clas *** ates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time beeen work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.How I Spent My Summer Vacation(3)I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather di *** ayed at the thought of this, but later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to e. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.。

I am a big fan of tennis match, since our country’s great athlete Li Na’s retired, I am still keep an eye on the tennis. Australian Open is held in the first month of the year, this year, I watched a great game. The women’s first seed Serena Williams continued her legend, she was more than 30, but she is still the best, she won the champion. After the match, she gave the inspiring speech, she told that she wanted to tell everyone, it was never too late to chase what you want, she was the best example. I am so touched by her speech, people like to take the age as the excuse, actually, we should never say old.

Today, as I had nothing to do, so I opened my computer and found a movie to watch. I thought about the movie that my friend asked me to watch, it was called 13 Is Going on 30. The story told about a 13 years old girl wanted to be a woman, so that she could have the beautiful face and perfect body shape. She wanted to date any handsome guy she liked. Then the magical thing happened, she became 30 and she got everything. But she felt lost, because her life was totally messed. I had the same feeling with the girl when I was at her age, I wanted to grow up quickly. But now, when I look at that age, I think it is better to cherish what I had at that time. Every stage of life has its happiness, so there is no need to skip the stage.

Since I go to high school, I have many annoyances. On the one hand, I am under great pressure on my study, I need to take the exams every month, once I am falling behind other students, I will feel that I am not doing well. I always want to be the best, but things can’t go on my way. On the other hand, I don’t want to talk to my parents, if they ask me the questions, I will answer them with few words. I think they won’t understand me, so I am not willing to communicate with my parents. I know I am in the adolescence, my body grows fast, changes happen on me, my emotion is unstable. So I need to learn to adjust myself and get used to these changes. I need to open my heart and have less pressure.

打从我上初中起，我就有很多烦恼。一方面，我在学习方面面临很大的压力，我每个月都要参加很多的开始，一旦比别的学生落后，我就会觉得我做得不好。我总是想要成为第一名，但是事情并不总是按照我的意愿走。另一方面，我不想要和我父母交流，如果他们问我问题，我就三言两语搪塞他们。我觉得他们并不了解我，因此我不愿意和父母交流。我知道我处于青春期，我的身体长得很快，我身上发生了变化，情绪变得很不稳定。所以我学着去调节自己，适应这些变化。我需要打开心扉，减少压力。

星期天我不用去上学。前天我完成了作业，于是我决定帮妈妈做家务。我起床后洗了几件衣服，然后我拿着篮子去购物。我在市场上买了一些肉、鸡蛋和蔬菜。回来后，我开始为全家人做饭。晚上，我坐在桌旁开始在笔记本上记下我一天所干的事。

It was Sunday and I didn t have to go to school. I finished my homework the day before. So I decided to help mother do housework. I washed some clothes after I got up. Then I went shopping with a basket. I bought some meat, eggs and some vegetables in the market. After I came back, I started to cook dinner for the whole family. In the evening, I sat at the table and began to write down on my notebook what I had done during the day.

Love is the most beautiful language in the world. We can wipe our tears away when we cry. It can bring happiness to us when we feel lonely. It can even give us confidence when we have problems. I often listen to some pop songs, and most of them are about love. The singers sing these songs loudly. I think that’s very real. They express their feelings directly. It shows that they love.

The happiness of loving and being loved is very wonderful. Let’s try to love each other so that the world will be full of love.
