主要内容:
1、介词短语
介词短语的构成:介词+the / 物主代词/名词所有格+名词等。
(1) 在介词短语中,定冠词the常常不翻译成中文,但the不能省略,是表示特指的。例:behind the door 在门后面
(2) 若介词短语中名词前用了物主代词或名词所有格时,不能再用定冠词the,但名词所有格前可以用the。
例:on his desk 在他的书桌上;in the teacher’s room 在老师的房间里
(3) 专有名词前不能用the。
(4) 表示方位的介词:on, in, behind, between, under等。
on在……上面(紧贴着某物,有面的接触);in 在……里面;behind在……后面;between在……之间;常于and连用;under在……的下面。
2、 Where引导的特殊疑问句
由where引导的特殊疑问句意在询问人或者物品所在的位置,句式“where +be+名词”,注意where后的be动词用is还是用are,取决于be动词后面的名词是单数还是复数。答语句式:It is +介词短语 (对应的问句为where is);
They are+介词短语(对应的问句为where are)或者直接用介词短语回答,省略it is或they are。
例:1.—Where is my eraser?
—It’s on the desk. / On the desk.
2.—Where are the keys?
—They are under the bed. / Under the bed.
3、I think it’s in your grandparents’ room. 我认为它在你(外)祖父母的房间里。
变否定句:I don’t think it’s in your grandparents’ room..
当主语是第一人称,think表示“看法”,其后接宾语从句时,若宾语从句表示否定意义,在形式上应该否定前面的主句,这种现象叫否定转移。
(误)I think he is not a teacher.
(正) I don’t think he is a teacher. 我认为他不是一位老师。
4、谈论物品的位置
Where’s + 单数物品?
Where are + 复数物品?
It’s + 介词短语.
They’re + 介词短语.
1) Where’s the baseball? It’s in the backpack. 棒球 在哪?在背包里。
2) Where’s my computer game? It’s under the bed.我的电子游戏机在哪?在床下面。
3) Where are your books? They’re on the chair.你的书在哪?在椅子上。
4) Where are the keys? They’re on the dresser. 钥匙在哪?在梳妆台上。
名词前已有作定语的this, that, my, your, some, any, each, every等代词,则不用冠词。
5、表位置的介词
on 在......上(两者相接触)
in 在......里
under在......下面(正下方)
6、Come on, Jack! 快点儿,杰克!= Hurry (up), Jack!
7、Gina’s books are everywhere.吉娜的书到处都是。
8、I don’t know.我不知道。
9、 take sb/sth to + 地点:把某人/某物带到某地。
take sth to sb 把某物带给某人 2) 把书带给他
10、 Can you bring some things to school? 你能带些东西到学校吗?
bring“带来,拿来”表示从远处带到近处,从别的地方带到说话者的地方。
take “带走,拿走”表示从近处带到远处,从说话者的地方带到别的地方。
1) Please bring me an eraser.
请给我带块橡皮擦。
2) Please take these books to your sister请把这些书带给你妹妹。
11、some和any(一些)
1) some一般用于肯定句,any用于否定句和疑问句
①I need some notebooks我需要一些笔本。
②I don’t have any books. 我没有书。
③Do you have any books? 你有一些书吗?
2) 在表示请求、建议、征求意见等委婉语气的疑问句中,用some而不用any。
①Can you bring some things to school? 你能带些东西到学校吗?
②Would you like some apples? 你想要一些苹果吗?
12、on the wall与in the wall(在墙上)
图画、黑板、风筝等“在墙上”,是因为它们在墙的表面,故用on the wall。
门窗、钉子、洞、孔等“在墙上”,是因为它们在墙的里面,故用in the wall。

名词所有格
在英语中,当我们表达“我的”“你的”“他的”时,用代词my, your, his等。如果要表
示“某个(些)人的”时,可以在某个(些)人后加-’s来表示所有关系,这种形式我们称
为所有格。如Mike的父亲:Mike’s father, 我妈妈的名字:my mother’s name
(1) 名词所有格的构成:
①一般情况下,单数名词加-’s.
②以s结尾的复数名词加 ’ ,读音不变。如the teachers’ room (老师们的房间)
③不以s结尾的复数名词加“-’s” Children’s Day 儿童 节 men’s clothes 男装
④用and连接的并列连词的所有格要分两种情况,即表示各自的所有关系时,要分别在并列连词后加-’s,表示共同的所有关系时,只在最后一个名词后加-’s:
Jim and Tom’s mother 吉姆和汤姆的母亲(共同所有)
Jim’s room and Tom’s room are both big. 吉姆的房间和汤姆的房间都很大。(各自所有)
(2)名词所有格的发音
一般情况下,名词词尾加-’s后 ①在清辅音后读作/s/ ;② 在浊辅音或元音后读作/z/;
③在/s/,/z/,/ ∫/等音素后读/Iz/。
(3)名词所有格的用法
名词所有格要用于有生命的东西,但有时也可用于无生命的东西,这主要见于:
①用于表时间的名词后:
tomorrow’s weather 明天的天气 two days’ journey 两天的旅程
比较:ten minutes’ break = a ten-minute break 10分钟的休息
②用于表国家、城市的名词后:
America’s policy 美国的政策 the city’s population 这个城市的人口
③用于某些集合名词后:
the majority’s view 多数人的观点 the government’s policy 政府的政策
④用于组织机构后:the station’s waiting-room 车站候车室
⑤用于度量衡及价值名词后:
a mile’s distance 1英里的距离 twenty dollar’s value 20 美元的价值
注:对于带有连字符已转化为形容词的度量衡,不能用所有格形式:
ten-minute walk 10分钟的路程(比较:ten minutes’ walk)
⑥用于表天体的名词后:the moon’s rays 月光the earth’s surface 地球表面
⑦用于某些固定表达中:a stone’s throw 一箭之遥at one’s wit’s end 黔驴技穷
