鹿亭温泉位于旺苍县高阳镇温泉村一组，距县城中心18.2km。热矿泉水开采面积3.26平方公里。鹿亭温泉是1972年由地质部门在寻找石油和天然气过程中发现的。1995年评为“四川名泉”。2009年被四川省鉴定为：“含偏硅酸的氟、氡医疗热矿水”。鹿亭温泉热矿泉水以医疗矿水的多种特征组分、热泉、中性、低矿化度、低渗性、强放射性和水质为硫酸钙镁型等六大要素为特征。此泉矿化度为2767mg/L～2771mg/L，主要化学成分：SO41880.53（硫酸根离子）、HCO158.88（碳酸根离子）、Cl4.94(氯离子)、Ca621.90(钙离子)、Mg121.03(镁离子)、Na23.03(钠离子)、K4.55(钾离子)。按化学成分为硫酸钙镁型中性热水。据取样化验测定，温泉含有20多种微量矿物成分，其中偏硅酸含量达矿水浓度，总硫化氢、氟、氡含量达到矿水命名浓度标准，含量分别为：偏硅酸29.20mg/L～31.73mg/L、总硫化氢（HS）含量19.01mg/L、氟7.56mg/L～9.76mg/L、氡1580Bq/L～1700Bq/L。此外，还含有锶、锌、碘、硒、铜等10多种元素和化学组分。1995年被评为“四川名泉”。按GB/T13727－92附录B命名标准，为低渗透，含偏硅酸的氟、氡、硫化氢医疗热矿水。2009年 被四川省鉴定为“含偏硅酸的氟、氡医疗热矿水”。Lu Ting spa is located in Hot Springs Village Gaoyang town Wangcang County, from the County Center 18.2km.
