如何用基本的英文电话用语与对方交谈？

当你打电话对方人不在，接电话的人通常会问你Would you like to leave a message? 意思就是「有什么需要我为你转达的吗？」

这时，你可以说

1）Yes, can you tell _（你想通知的人）_ that _（你的名字）_ called?

如：Yes, can you tell Emma that Peter called?

好啊，你能告诉 他/她 我打来过吗？

2）Yes, can you tell ___ to call me tonight/later?

她/他 可以打555-5555这个电话找我。

当你要记下重要信息，却发现身边没有纸笔时，你可以这样说。意思是，「等等，我拿下纸和笔」。

假如你是接到电话的那一方，要替别人转达信息，你可以这样说。这两句的意思都是，「我会让她/他 知道的。」
