SWIFT国际结算系统的全称是环球银行金融电信协会支付系统，是全球最安全、最快捷、最重要的跨境支付系统。
2月27日美国、欧盟、加拿大等国发表联合声明，鉴于俄罗斯的所作所为，将禁止俄罗斯使用SWIFT系统，这才让SWIFT系统进入大众的视线之中，这次俄罗斯被禁止使用SWIFT系统后，俄罗斯的财政收入将会受到很大的影响，之所以会这样是因为俄罗斯是能源大国，石油跟天然气出口的收入占据了财政收入的很大一部分，而这些能源的交易需要用到SWIFT系统，可能很多人都不明白这个系统有啥特殊之处，居然能影响庞然大物般的俄罗斯，下面就来说一说SWIFT国际结算系统到底是什么：
一、SWIFT国际结算系统是什么
SWIFT国际结算系统是一个跨境支付系统，已经存在了近50年的时间，是在1973年环球银行金融电信协会负责管理，总部设在比利时的跨境支付交易系统，主要为全球的银行及其他金融机构、企业提供安全的金融信息传输服务。
二、SWIFT系统能干什么
SWIFT系统做的事情简单来说就是让跨国贸易变得简单，因为各个国家的货币不同，汇率也在不断变化，所以各个国家在国际贸易中会面临很多麻烦，而SWIFT系统就是为了解决这些麻烦存在的，SWIFT系统以美元进行贸易结算，如果没有这个系统那就只能使用本国货币或者签订了贸易互换协议的国家进行贸易。 但是SWIFT系统并不是唯一的，各国也在试图建立自己的金融支付系统。
