一、课堂尽量英语化。
尽量避免用母语进行教学，是进行外语课堂教学的原则之一。语言是思维的工具。为了使小学生的思维尽快地与英语联系起来，在英语课堂组织教学中要尽可能使用英语，做到课堂英语化，以排除对母语的依赖和母语的干扰。小学阶段是学习英语的关键期之一。尽管他们刚涉及英语，掌握的单词和句型甚少，但我们应该从第一节课起，坚持用英语组织教学。进门跟学生打招呼：“Good morning/ afternoon/ evening.”我曾听一位老师在领读的时候是用:“One, two, three, go.”在教学的时候使用英语，尽量避免使用母语教学，使学生在学习英语的过程中感受到英语的氛围。
二、 教学做到情景化。
小学英语课堂教学必须尽最大限度地引起学生的学习兴趣，为学生提供足够的机会用英语进行活动，让学生感受到运用所学语言成功地达到某种目的后的愉快。这是小学生的年龄特点和英语学科的特殊性所决定的。要使小学生能够在 40 分钟的时间内保持良好的学习状态，教师必须根据不同的教学内容创设各种情景，做到教学情景化。
首先，坚持用英语组织教学活动，教师应有计划地向学生传授课堂用语和日常用语，如：“Who’s on duty today?” “Good morning/afternoon.” “How are you? I’m fine, thanks. And you?”。建立如 Daily talk ，或 4 人一组的“Pair work/Group work.”的 Make dialogues 等制度，来加强英语课的语言氛围。
其次，在课堂教学中尽量利用实物、图片、幻灯、课文插图等辅助手段创设情景。根据教学内容，要求学生分角色进行模拟，让学生在特定的语境中理解教学内容。
再次，通过游戏活动来表现情景。因为游戏是小学生生活的重要组成部分，大多数小学生都喜欢课堂教学游戏，游戏会令他们动起来给学习带来快乐，是机械的句型操练起来变得生动、活泼、有趣味。游戏活动能使抽象语言内容变成一种具体、形象的情景，具有直观性、趣味性和竞争性等特点，能有效地激发他们学习的积极性。
小学英语教学，教师应运用各种教学手段，使学生充分享受到学习英语的乐趣，让学生在“乐”中学，”乐”中练，变苦学为乐学真正做到”乐而好学”。
新一轮新课改的风席卷了全国，山西也不例外，暑假以来，我参加了山西省继续教育的远程培训，以及我们去教育局组织的英语新课标的培训，这段时间的培训让我获益匪浅，眼界也开阔了不少，下面我来浅谈一下自己培训和学习的收获和心得体会：
新课标指出，可以对教材内容作适当的补充和删减，要避免仅仅为满足考试需求而对教材进行取舍。对过去一味死记硬背的办法也不再提倡，要求积极利用多媒体和网络等现代教学资源帮助学生营造逼真语境，对于低年级的学生教学内容和形式要更直观、生动、形象。
一、提出英语学科具有工具性和人文性双重性质
新版《课程标准》更清晰地阐述了英语课程的目的，即在发展学生综合语言运用能力的过程中，培养学生良好的道德品质和社会适应能力，提升整体国民素质，促进科技创新和跨文化人才的培养。也就是说英语课程不再是单纯的工具性课程，而是具有工具性和人文性双重性质的课程。英语学习不再是简单地提升学生的综合语言运用能力，还承担着提高学生综合人文素养的任务。学生通过英语课程能够开阔视野，丰富生活经历，形成跨文化意识，增强爱国主义精神，发展创新能力，形成良好的品格和正确的人生观与价值观。这为教师制定教学目标提供了很好的依据。
二、提倡采用重在语言运用的多种教学模式
新版《课程标准》在“教学建议”部分将原来的“倡导任务型的教学途径”改写为“教师要通过创设接近实际生活的各种语境，采用循序渐进的语言实践活动，以及各种强调过程与结果并重的教学途径和方法，如任务型语言教学途径等，培养学生用英语做事情的能力”。这无疑是鼓励教师根据教学内容和学生实际、采用既强调语言学习过程又有利于提高学生学习成效的各种语言教学途径和方法，创造性地设计贴近学生的教学活动，尽可能多地为他们提供在真实语境中运用语言的机会。也是对除任务型教学方法之外的其它教学途径与方法的包容和认可，对广大一线教师积极探索教学改革新路的肯定。
三、明确音标教学的基础地位
新版《课程标准》在五级知识目标里，将原来的“根据读音拼写单词和短语”改为“根据读音规则和音标拼读单词”。这一修订明确了音标教学在初中阶段的定位，使课改以来一直困扰教师的“初中英语到底要不要教音标”的问题得到根本解决。音标教学获得了足够的重视对学生语言学习的可持续发展和综合语言运用能力提高有极大帮助。
四、语法教学内容有所调整
新版《课程标准》在语法项目表中对五级的要求也做了调整。调整后的语法项目难度降低了，要求更清晰了。如被动语态中只要求学生掌握含一般现在时、一般过去时和一般将来时的被动语态，非谓语动词中只要求掌握动词不定式做宾语、宾语补足语、目的状语的用法，而定语从句则只要求“能辨认出带有由that, which, who引导的限定性定语从句，并能理解句子意思”。这些对教师把握教学深度和难度有极大的指导意义，对推进素质教育、减轻学生过重的学业负担也有积极的推动作用。通过学习，使我对新教材有了初步的认识，认识到要上好新教材，我们教师非下苦工夫不可。
五、为了适应英语新课程改革需要，尽快提高学生的英语水平，达到新课标的要求，我们应该努力做到以下几点：
1.反复学习新课程标准理念，深刻领会英语课程的要求。并能在自己的继续学习和实际教学之中加以运用。 2. 关注学生的情感，营造宽松、民主、和谐的教学氛围。
3.尽量采用"任务型"的教学途径，培养学生综合语言运用能力。
4.加强对学生学习策略的指导，为他们终身学习奠定基础。
5.组织生动活泼的课外活动，促进学生的英语学习。
通过这次培训学习，使我对《初中英语新课程标准》有了更深的了解。在今后的教学工作中，我将认真地把新课程标准提出的要求落实到实处，达到满意的教学效果，让自己的教学不断地提高和完善!
音乐是开启人类心灵大门的钥匙。小学儿童的年龄特点决定他们活泼好动的性格，而音乐那富有韵律，动感的特点恰恰迎合了小学儿童的心理和口味。例如，将音乐放在课堂一开始，这可以调动课堂的气氛，让学生能尽快的从课间的喧闹中缓过神来，集中精力投入到英语课堂中.教师平时应该多留意一些中文少儿歌曲，例如，《两只老虎》，《ABCD歌》，《Good morning》等。然后将课堂中要讲解的单词，或者是语言点编入歌曲中，起到预习与复习的作用。
（1）Picture—英语课堂中的润滑剂
颜色鲜艳，画面清楚，逼真的图片有利于学生的形象思维，教师可以在简单的环境中训练学生的语言能力，而且图片不受时间和具体条件的限制。有一些小东西、家具、交通工具、场所等实物实景，教师难以带入课堂，都可用图片代替，操作既简单又方便可行！
在实际的英语中，图片的使用要灵活。例如在介绍新单词din-ning room ,kitchen ,bedroom 等单词的时候，教师可以先用图片将单词引导出来，然后带领学生齐读，接着由学生单个读、小组读；教师在学生读的时候呈现与单词相对应的实物图片，这样能很好的调动学生学习的积极性。
（2）Chant—英语课堂中的调味剂
Chant教学法也就是英语教学中常见的一种“歌谣”教学法，歌谣其实是一种有韵脚有意境的儿歌，它充满童趣，合辙压韵，琅琅上口。教师把单词或小短语编成富有动感,有韵律的Chant在小学英语课堂上运用，这更容易激起儿童学习单词或短语的兴趣，并让他们在学的一段时间内仍能记忆犹新。chant的特点和要求大致有四小点：（1）节奏感强，琅琅上口。（2）形象生动，激发想象。（3）简单易记，容易背诵。（4）语言精练，响亮压韵。
（3）Game—英语课堂中的催化剂
从教学意义上来讲，游戏教学有利于激发学生的学习兴趣，发展学生的智力，增长学生的知识。它不但有利于学生的身心发展，还有利于帮助学生掌握知识、技能；在课堂中穿插一些合适的游戏，可以缓解课堂上的紧张气氛，有助于消除学生的`疲劳感；它强调了学生的主体性，要求学生共同参与，利用游戏无意注意的特征，让学生在不知不觉中学到了知识，拓展了视野。
从教学实施上来讲，游戏的设计要合理，必须指向一定的教学目标，使教学任务与游戏任务基本吻合；游戏的形式要多样化，俗话说“把戏不可多玩”，再好玩的游戏玩过多次也就失去新鲜感了；游戏的内容要生动有趣，因为既然是游戏，就应该让学生乐于接受，乐于参与。在游戏中，教师应注意导语尽量的简练生动，要先交代一下游戏名，明确任务，并制定合理的游戏规则，同样，规则也要简洁明了，易于让孩子们记住和遵守。在应用相对来说较为复杂时，教师应先给予示范和指导。将游戏引入教学，目的就在于以游戏引路，充分调动学生的求知欲、好奇心，让孩子们不知不觉地从“乐”中“学” 。
我认为小学英语课堂一定要让学生在活动中去学习英语，通过听听、说说、唱唱、玩玩等形式，让小学生感受到学习英语的快乐。
假期里我阅读了《小学英语新课程教学法》一书，读后我对新课标有了更深入的了解。
新课标肩负着时代的使命，带着新的教育理念走进了中小学校园，改变着中小学师生的教学方式。新课标改革对建立中国特色的基础教育课程体系，提高国民素质，具有重要意义。为了进一步推进课程改革向纵深发展，我们有必要对新课程的价值追求进行再思考，以找准方向，促使课改顺利向前推进。
一.新课程的价值追求：人的发展
新的课程观认为课程就是教材、教师、学生、环境四因素的整合。新课程发展的核心理念是为了每一位学生的全面发展。同样，新课程的实施，不能忽视每一位教师的发展。学生是核心，教师是新课程的实践者，是帮助学生全面发展的促进力量。在学习化生存的社会，在终生学习的思想得到提倡并深入人心的新世纪，教师和学生的共同成长应该是新课程的核心价值追求。
二.重视人文功能，倡导以人为本
根据以人为本的理念，教学要面向全体学生，根据学生的需要安排教学内容和活动方式，注重学习方式的转变和学生的可持续发展，提高学生基本的英语素质，构建学生健康完整的人格和优秀的品质。
在教学和总坚持以人为本还体现在注意整体学生的水平、爱好等情况的同时，关注学生个体的差异。所以，教师一方面要明确学生应共同达到的学习目标，确定本节课扩展和延伸的内容，为学有余力的学生提供发展的空间;另一方面，通过观察与分析，了解学生不同的学习需求及不同水平学生的不同学习风格。
三.重视学习过程，在实践中学习
主张学生在思考、讨论、解决问题、交流和合作、完成任务的过程中学习和使用英语。新课标提倡的教学思想的核心是能做某事，即在实践中学习。教师在设计教学活动时应了解教学要求和语言内容，制定可操作的活动计划，定位师生的角色，设置监控的方式，考虑评价的形式。
四.重视情感态度教学
把情感态度作为课表目标之一是情感因素的内涵、特征及其在语言学习和人的发展中的特殊作用所决定的。情感态度很大程度上需要语言来传递和表达。恰当、合理地使用语言有助于沟通情感、增进友谊和相互尊重，维持良好的人际关系。因此，语言教学互动必须是富有感情的带有人性味儿的交流。在教学活动中纳入情感交流是英语教学模式的进步和向新课标转型的必然要求。
