The canteens in the earlier time have developed into the chain department stores in nowdays in our country's retail trade line,with the uprising ecnomic demand and enterprise competition,such as various of discount stores and online supermarkets which have theaten the development of department stores and chain supermakets are uprising quickly.And at the same time,domestic market has been taken by foreign developed supermarkets,domestic chain supermarkets are in a tough situation.investigating the reasons,powerless control of cost is one of the significant aspects which lead to less competitiveness of an enterprise.So study the cases of chain supermarket cost control has practical significance to domestic chain supermarkets' healthy development.The text researched the methods of cost control in details by strong Purchasing dependence of enterprises,and showed the shortcomings and improvements! Through the research,we found such problem as cost information system and distribution center were defective,staff was not professional.So we should reinforce the cost control(of chain supermarket)by optimizing supply chain,reinforcing collaboration with supplyersand enhancing staff training and so on to promote the ecnomic efficiency of enterprise!
