There’s no doubt that the earth is getting warmer. Facing the issue, we should hold an active attitude to solving it.because above all, it’s human beings’ activity that results in the worsening of global warming. The reasons come in many ways. Actually we can do much to prevent global warming. Firstly, we should save as much energy as we can and switch off the electrical appliances which we don’t use. Using the products made from recycled materials is also a way available to make contributions to the construction of environmentally-friendly society. On the other hand, by planting trees, more oxygen can be given out and more carbon dioxide will be absorbed, invisibly(无形中) keeping the balance of nature. Besides, I vote for the solution that we are supposed to explore and discover new energy to benefit us human beings. However, merely depending on these measures taken to lessen global warming, it is obviously not enough. To sum up, it calls for everyone’s action and cooperation. 毫无疑问地球环境变得越来越糟，面对这个问题，我们应该持积极的态度来解决，因为毕竟是人类的活动导致了全球变暖问题的恶化。理由有以下几方面。 事实上，我们为阻止全球变暖可以采取很多措施。首先，我们应该尽量节约能源，电器不用时关掉开关，使用有回收材料制成的产品也是一个建设环保社会的可行方法。另一方面，通过种树氧气生成而二氧化碳被吸收，无形中保持了自然平衡。此外，我赞成这样的方法，探寻发现益于人类的新能源。 但是，仅仅依靠以上的措施来减轻全球变暖显然是不够的。总而言之，这要求每个人的行动和合作。

Mr. Engelman says there are problems all over the world because of diseases, such as cholera, which are carried in water. Lack of water may also result in more international conflict. Countries may have to compete for water in the future. Some countries now get sixty percent of their fresh water from other countries. This is true of Egypt, the Netherlands, Cambodia, Syria, Sudan, and Iraq. And the report says lack of water would affect the ability of developing to improve their economies. This is because new industries often need a large amount of water when they are beginning.
