英语六级口语考试无论上午还是下午都有考试场次，每两场考试中间休息15分钟，上午时间为从早上8点半开始，每半小时一场，其中每两场中间休息半个小时，如有加场，则从11点开始。下午时间从下午1点半开始，如有加场，则从4点半开始。
大学英语四、六级考试口语考试（ CET Spoken English Test ，简称 CET-SET ），是用于测量我国大学生运用英语进行口头交际的能力的英语考试。一年两次，分别在5 月和 11 月。成绩查询时间，分别为每年的八月和二月的中下旬，与笔试成绩一同公布。

2017年开始报考资格为：
考试分为全国大学英语四级口语考试(CET-SET4)，全国大学英语六级口语考试(CET-SET6)。
四级口语考试：完成当次四级笔试报考后方可报考四级口试，例如完成2017年6月CET4报考后可报考2017年5月CET-SET4。
六级口语考试：完成当次六级笔试报考后方可报考六级口试，例如完成2017年6月CET6报考后可报考2017年5月CET-SET6。
口试不需要笔试过一定分数线才能报考，口试笔试分开考。
CET-SET 考试采用机考形式，每场考试由 2 名主考和 3 （或 4 ）名考生组成：
CET-SET 考试分三部分：
第一部分是考生和 CET 授权的主考进行交谈，采用问答的形式。时间约 5 分钟。
第二部分包括 1.5 分钟的考生个人发言和 4.5 分钟的小组讨论。时间共约 10 分钟。
第三部分由主考再次提问以进一步确定考生的口头交际能力。时间约 5 分钟。
由于改革，有些省份实施机考形式。两个考生为一组参加。
第一部分为简单的自我介绍和问题回答，其中自我介绍20秒，问题回答为90秒。
第二部分为topic，及与你的partner进行有关此给出话题的讨论，时间为4分30秒。
第三部分为总结式回答，包括两个问题，其中一个与你的partner相同，另一个不同。时间均为90秒。

英语六级考试一般是在下午，14:00左右。
我是2009年在黑龙江省哈尔滨市上的大学，参加英语六级考试是在2010年。我当时参加考试时英语四六级都没有所谓的口语考试。不知道现在什么情况。
