Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate:你比夏天更可爱,更温婉: Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,狂风会把五月的娇蕊吹落, And summer's lease hath all too short a date:夏天出租的期限又太短暂: Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,有时天上的眼睛照得太热, And often is his gold complexion dimm'd; And every fair from fair sometime declines,一切美的事物总不免凋败, By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd But thy eternal summer shall not fade Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest; Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,死神也不能夸说你在他阴影里徘徊, When in eternal lines to time thou growest:当你在永恒的诗行里与时间同久长: So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,只要人们能呼吸或眼睛看得清, So long lives this and this gives life to thee.

To —By Persy Bysshe ShellyOne word is too often profanedFor me to profane it,One feeling too falsely disdainedFor thee to disdain it;One hope is too like despairFor prudence to smother,And pity from thee more dearThan that from another.I can not give what men call love:But will thou accept notThe worship the heart lifts aboveAnd the heavens reject not,And the desire of the moth for the star,Of the night for the morrow,The devotion to something afarFrom the sphere of our sorrow.
