英文里表示“喝醉酒”的表达很多，如：drunk，intoxicated，tipsy等等。说“某个人有点醉了”，就是：He’s had a drop too much.英国人有个词，常表示“微醉，虽不至于跌倒在地，但做事的话也有危险”，例如：You don’t want to drive here on a dark night if you’re a bit tiddly. The mud sucks you down like quicksand in places. 你要是喝得晕乎乎的可别晚上开车到这里来，有些地方的泥土会像流沙似的把你吸进去。
