考研的英语为National Post-graduate Entrance Examination(NPEE)即，国家研究生入学考试。
1、词汇量误区 ——增加词汇量的方法就是照着单词书死记硬背。然而，考研英语对词汇部分的考察特点体现为：一词多义和熟词僻义，即同一个词在不同语境下的灵活运用。死记硬背是最不可取的。对策：首先，大纲词汇是必须全部背下来的，建议入手周思成老师的《考研单词一笑而过》，每个词都会有“词根词缀+联想”记忆法，很适合长期使用。其次，学会使用权威的剑桥词典，每一次生词的查阅也是在无形中记了一遍单词。再次，要有一个自己的单词本，记录背过很多遍还是记不住的单词，利用碎片化时间不时翻看。最后，真题词汇的记忆也是必要的，毕竟是反复出现在真题中的单词。宋智鸣老师的weibo中有整理好的真题词汇，需要自取即可。
2、阅读习惯误区1—— 逐个单词阅读，不仅对整句话的结构造成影响，而且容易读后忘前；误区2—— 不断重复阅读未看懂的句子，不但影响阅读速度，而且阅读效率很低；误区3—— 一边读句子，一边翻译，遇到不会的词立马查，然后接着翻译。对策：首先，改正不良阅读习惯。不要逐个单词阅读，以意群为单位进行阅读，将每句话按意群分割，会大大提高阅读速度。通读全文时遇到看不懂的句子先放一放，等带着问题回到文章定位是画出出题范围，也许不懂的句子是文章的“灰色地带”，根本就不是出题点。逐步放弃翻译思维，养成用英语思维的习惯。其次，灵活掌握多种阅读方法。比如掠读，即快速浏览全文并找到主题句。再比如扫读，即对文章进行快速扫视，“一目十行”的特技，用最快的速度了解文章大意。最后，祝你考试顺利！
