当attend to和attend on都表示照料、照顾的意思时，其实两者的区别并不大，有的时候是可以通用的。稍微的区别是两者有时候的侧重点不同：
1、attend on 表示出的“照顾”更偏重于表达“侍候”的意思。比如“下级”侍候“上级”“晚辈”侍候“长辈”等。
