硕士条件：
修课式硕士一般只需要完成特定的课程，并且达到学院所要求的成绩便可以毕业，而大部分哲学硕士课程则除了要求在修学课程上取得优异成绩和担任教学助理（Teaching Assistant）外，还要进行全职学术研究，并且撰写硕士论文才能毕业。
完成修课式硕士课程所需的时间为一年到两年不等，入学资格一般为学士毕业便可。另一方面，由于哲学硕士需要进行全职研究和担任教学助理，所以入学资格要求会高很多，通常需要申请者拥有学士学位，并且取得二级荣誉一等，甚至一级荣誉或以上的成绩。完成哲学硕士课程所需的时间一般为两年到两年半，有些时候也会因为在研究上有困难而延长修业时间，但通常不会超过四年。
