考研英语翻译题是英译汉
来说说考研英语的翻译题的特点。
第一个特点，不同于MTI的英汉汉英各一半，考研英语的翻译题只有英译汉没有汉译英。难度上肯定比MTI题要简单，毕竟MTI本身就是翻译专业，要求会高些。当然，难易也是相对的，对于MTIer来说，这些翻译题比较简单，对于我来说那更是过家家，但对于几百万考研生以及很多考研英语培训机构来说，或许这些翻译题难到抽筋，令人一筹莫展，毫无办法。毕竟，没法蒙了不是
考研英语的翻译题之所以全部出英译汉题，主要原因是定位，研究生以后是从事研究工作的，搞科研的，今后不可避免要参考大量的外文（特别是英文）学术文献，谁让当今世界的科技和学术研究是西方主导的呢。那么就要求他们能够读懂这些外文文献，最好还能翻译出来，这就是为什么全部都是英译汉的题。而因为较少会用到汉译英，所以干脆就不考。再就是可能阅卷人员也为了避免辣眼睛，汉语总算是考生的母语，英译汉是用汉语来表达，理论上总要比汉译英用英语来表达要稍微利索些（其实他们想多了，因为从实际情况来看也好不到哪里去，考生两样都很烂，都很辣眼睛）
第二个特点，这些翻译题所在的文本，题材主要是自然科学和社会科学。研究生以后要从事的专业涉及各个门类，但大体上不外乎理工农医类的自然科学和文史法财类的社会科学。出题人不可能出个纯文学的，不可能来段十四行诗或英语散文让你翻成汉语，更不可能来段汉语文言文或小说让你翻成英语。因为这不符合科研定位，也远远超出了考生的能力范围，那样的话全国几百万考生几乎个个都得零蛋，大家都是0分，谁也不比谁好谁也不比谁差，那这门考试就没有区分度了，也就没有意义了。至于纯文学，那是英语专业的人玩的，是专门搞文学搞翻译的学生考的，比如MA或MTI。
