后来凯撒被人杀了，奥古斯做了皇帝，他发现凯撒出生的七月份有31天，而自己出生的8月份只有30天，他就又从2月减去一天加到8月份。这样2月剩下28天，8月成为31天。同时，他把以后的几个月天数也做了改变。
