在课本的最后一页。《新视野大学英语4：读写教程（第二版）》是2008年06月外语教学与研究出版社出版的图书，作者是郑树棠。《新视野大学英语》(第二版)系列教材是普通高等教育“十·五”国家级规划教材。本教材在保持第一版优势的基础上,依据《大学英语课程教学要求》的精神及大学英语教学的发展方向,对整体结构和内容进行了全面完善和提高。作为一套与现代信息技术相结合的立体化大学英语教材,《新视野大学英语》(第二版)通过课本、光盘、网络等不同载体的有机结合,为新形势下的大学英语数学提供多层次、多渠道、立体化的服务。郑树棠，1945年1月生，上海市人。教授，博士生导师。1967年毕业于上海复旦大学英国语言文学专业。郑树棠教授主要研究语言习得理论，语料库语言学，语篇分析，多媒体课件，教育技术等。著有《大学核心英语》，《英语动词时与体》，《现代英语形近词语辨析》，《大学英语1—4级专用词典》，《新视野大学英语》等专著与教材。电子出版作品有：《大学核心英语》多媒体课件，大学英语多媒体题库等。近年来发表《21世纪大学英语教学》系列论文四篇。

《新视野大学英语》的学习对象是非英语专业的本科生，虽然也是分1-4册，但是起点非常高，学习者的高考英语成绩大多在110分以上。1-4册的跨度不是很大，基本实现从高考110分以上到CET-6甚至更高水平（在“终点”上，两者是很相似的）。

另外要注意的是《新概念英语》的1-4册跨度非常大，从“零基础”到相当于CET-6甚至更高水平，学习者的适用年龄从小学3-4年级到大学阶段（包括专科、本科和研究生以及在职英语学习者）。

《新视野大学英语》

《新视野大学英语》的每一册（每一级）都有《读写教程》、《听说教程》、《泛读教程》、《快速阅读》和《综合训练》五部分，是很明显的“模块”教学，目标性很明确，针对性非常强，也有很强的操作性，能有效地培养培养学习者听、说、读、写、译的能力。

在高考英语70-80分的基础上，学习《新视野大学英语》无法发挥教材的优势，也背离了教材编写的初衷，明显会感觉起步艰难，很容易“水土不服”，长期学习不见起色，会挫伤学习积极性和自信心的，最终可能导致厌学甚至弃学。
