全国大学生英语竞赛考试，总共有八个部分，分别是听力、词汇、完形填空、阅读理解、翻译、改错、IQ测试。

1、听力理解（Listening Comprehension ），包括ABCD四部分， 30分。

2、词汇语法（Vocabulary and Grammar），选择题15道， 15分。

3、完形填空（Cloze），10道小题， 10分。

4、阅读理解（Reading Comprehension）20道小题，35分。

5、翻译（Translation），分为英翻中和中翻英两部分，15分。

6、短文改错（Error Correction），10小题，10分。

7、智力测试（IQ Text），5小题，5分。

8、写作（Writing），一大一小，30分。

全国大学生英语赛(National English Competition for College Students, 简称NECCS)是经教育部高教司同意，由教育部高等学校大学外语教学指导委员会和高等学校大学外语教学研究会联合主办的全国唯一的大学生英语综合能力竞赛。

本竞赛分A、B、C、D四个类别，全国各高校研究生及本、专科所有年级学生均可自愿报名参赛。A类考试适用于研究生参加；B类考试适用于英语专业本、专科学生参加；C类考试适用于非英语专业本科生参加；D类考试适用于体育类和艺术类本科生和非英语专业高职高专类学生参加。本竞赛面向大多数学生，提倡“重在参与”的奥林匹克精神，坚持自愿报名参加的原则，避免仅仅选拔“尖子”参加竞赛，而把大多数学生排除在竞赛之外的做法。

分为口语表达与书面练习两类，书面练习主要是听力，阅读，选择，作文这几种题型。

英语竞赛主要有以下题型：Part I Listening Comprehension (30分)综述：前三节选择题（提供题干，ABC三个选项），共20道，每道1分，听一遍； 第四节填空题，10个空，每空1分，每空不超过5个单词。Section A短对话（5个题）Section B长对话（10个题）两个对话，每个各5道题，注意可能听的顺序和题的顺序不一致。以上两节题型、内容和四六级听力差不多。Section C 新闻（5个题） 5条新闻，每条内容相对长一些，题型类似专四听力，注意题干的问题细节，带着问题去听。Section D (10空，10分) 听两遍一篇文章，10个空，每个空填不超过5个单词的内容。训练速记的能力。 注意： 空和前后文的内容联系； 名词单复数，时态，大小写等； “新”词，如bi-engineering, lifesaving cures。（难点） 备考策略：增加题量，可从CNN，BBC相关材料上抽取文章，同学之间互相出几套题做做。Part II Vocabulary and Structure (15分)15道单选题，考察词汇和英语结构的运用。会有1-2道情景会话题。Part III Cloze (10分)10个空，一个空1分，每个空填一个单词，有三种形式： 1. 根据所给单词正确形式； 2. 给出1-3个首字母； 3. 根据上下文填写。该部分是很灵活的环节，可以出的容易，可以出的很难。考生应适当加强训练Part IV Reading Comprehension (40分)阅读部分和完型一样，是“分数调节器”，可以设计的很难、有梯度。2012年英语竞赛4篇文章，一篇5个题，每题两分，题型多变，设计灵活。 备选题型（按形式分类）：  是非判断题（T,F,NG） 问答题（答案不超过10个词）  完成句子题 总结题（每空一个单词）  选择题 翻译题（英汉翻译，2道）Part V Translation(10分)5道汉英翻译，每题2分，给出提示。难度、形式和四六级差不多。Part VI Error Correction(10分)题型和高考、专八完全一样。考生可找一些题总结规律，熟悉题型。Part VII IQ Test(5分)分为语言题，逻辑题，数字题。建议大家找些往届的真题（不光C类，其他类也行）做做，可能这是IQ题的唯一来源。Part VIII Writing(30分)Task I (10分)实用交际类作文，类似专四的便条。不少于100字。如写邀请信、致歉信、求职信等。 Task II（20分）对某一现象或概念写出自己的理解。不少于140字。下面附上2011年作文的评分标准Task I 应用文评分标准 一、评分原则： 1. 本题满分为10分。2. 评分时，先根据文章的内容和语言初步确定其所属档次，然后以该档次的要求来衡量、确定或调整本档次，最后给分。3. 词数少于80的，从总分中减去2分。4. 如书写较差，以致影响阅卷，将分数降低一个档次。 二、各档次的给分范围和要求： 第四档：8—10分完全符合写作格式的要求，覆盖所有内容要点，表达思想清楚，文字通顺，连贯性很好，基本上无词汇和语法错误。 第三档：6—7分基本符合写作格式的要求，有个别地方表达思想不够清楚，文字基本通顺、连贯，有少量词汇和语法错误。 第二档：3—5分未恰当完成写作格式的要求，漏掉内容要点，表达思想不清楚，文字多处出现词汇和语法错误，影响了对写作内容的理解。 第一档：1—2分未完成写作格式的要求，明显遗漏主要内容，表达思想紊乱，有较多词汇和语法的重大错误，未能将信息传达给读者。 0分白卷；作文与题目毫不相关；内容太少，无法评判；所写内容无法看清。 Task II 议论文评分标准 一、评分原则： 1. 本题满分为20分。2. 评分时，先根据文章的内容和语言初步确定其所属档次，然后以该档次的要求来衡量、确定或调整本档次，最后给分。3. 词数少于120的，从总分中减去2分。4. 如书写较差，以致影响交流，将分数降低一个档次。 二、各档次的给分范围和要求： 第四档：16—20分完全符合写作格式的要求，覆盖所有内容要点，表达思想清楚，文字通顺，连贯性很好，基本上无词汇和语法错误。 第三档：11—15分基本符合写作格式的要求，有个别地方表达思想不够清楚，文字基本通顺、连贯，有少量词汇和语法错误。 第二档：6—10分未恰当完成写作格式的要求，漏掉内容要点，表达思想不清楚，文字多处出现词汇和语法错误，影响了对写作内容的理解。 第一档：1—5分

1、听力题：需要注意仔细听，听力内容均是只播放一遍；2、词汇和结构一般为15个小题，主要是考的语法知识；3、阅读理解：阅读量相当大，题目设置有简答有选择不拘一格；4、完形填空：主要是考语感和词汇量；5、翻译：翻译安排得比较靠后，一般难度不高；6、能力题：选答；7、写作：一个是议论文，一个是应用文。在竞赛考试时都要合理分配时间，做好统筹安排。
