1、不要将“etc”用于 "such as" 或 "for example" 引导的介绍性短语中。因为 "such as"本身就意味着讲话者没有列举全。
2、一个句子中不能多次使用 "etc."像这种："I have to do the dishes, wash the car, clean my room, etc., etc., etc., before the party" 是不对的。
