what I can do for the disaster?In the first place, I's shocked by hearing the sad news. I heard of the suffering from earthquate in Wenchuan town with bleeding heart. The terrible disaster caused more then 12,000 inhabitants deaths and countless injured up to May 13th. However, Misfortunes never come singly, it's raining cats and dogs today which cause extreme difficulty and danger to rescue victims of the earthquake. The report went out that soldiers only could use their hands to dig stones and block because mechines might hurt the victims who undered the collapsing buildings and other structures. It's really a urgent and difficult task to rescue them. The central government attache great importance to the disaster, which sent Premier Wen on this mission to command rescue work. He said the government will made every efforts to rescue victims, try every possible means to reduce wound. Rescue work is a system program which extreme complex,social, semi-militarised urgent action. It related to lots of scientific, orgnazing, technical arrangemnt, troop traning and commanding problems. It can't mank any mistakes from rescuing to medical treatment, from life to public security, from technique to system, from orgnazing to directing. Secondly,Sichuan province is a part of our country,so what should we suppose to do for earthquake there? Local radio or television stations from all parts of the country began to appeal the country to aid the disaster area in various methods. I knew too many companies called for contributing unpromptedly. And China Mobile and Unicom open contributing message channal to suppose Red Cross. I was astonished when I open baidu website, I saw the logo of baidu change into gray color and a red cross in the middle. As a christian, I know our church contribute all christian's "Ma na" to disaster area every time.

Misfortune and fortune always accompany one another, just like thunder accompanying lightning. Much less as misfortune occurs than fortune, not until it breaks out suddenly can we realize it. Last year, people in Sichuan suffered from a catastrophe. A sudden violent change in the earth's surface broke out in a twinkling. It was the world-shaking Wenchuan earthquake. Millions of housees were ruined and thousands of people got killed in it for an instant. None of those who were there at that time and survived it luckily were brought to deep grief, including people engaged in industry or project from every parts of the country, tourists from home and abroad, visitors on business for their official affairs and on private buisiness to visit their relatives and friends. On the other hand, people in the disaster area have not been cowed down while the earthquake has been causing widespread destruction and distress. With the self-giving help of the whole country, they have been try their best to get it over, uniting as one and doing all out. People there have gone through the mill and understood how to be up against difficulties, At this point, suffering sometimes is a kind of fortune as well. It is hard, anyway, to avoid some of natural calamities with man power, such as earthquakes, typhoon, tsunamis, but scientist researches turn out that some of them which have been formed and caused have something direct to do with mankind. Due to destroying it man-made, our nature is standing in dangerous situation. A flood disaster took place in some areas in China. It had been raining all those days and never stopped, which led to the flood. The PLA men arrived immediately to rescue the villagers of the flooded areas. And they did their best to fight against the flood. They supplied the villagers with fresh vegetables and food. Some medical teams were organized to help them so that they could have healthy diet. Poisonous food and dead animals were not allowed to be eaten and the water must be cleared over and over again before being drunk. The doctors told them to pay special attention to their health. Some leaders of our country also inspected the areas. Supplies and money from all parts of our country were sent to those areas to support them. After a long time, everything went on very well.
