流行是一种普遍的社会心理现象，指社会上一段时间内出现的或某权威性人物倡导的事物、观念、行为方式等被人们接受、采用，进而迅速推广以至消失的过程，又称时尚。

流行的事物、观念、行为方式等不一定是新出现的，有的可以是在以前就出现或已经流行过的，只是在新的一段时间又流行起来。流行涉及到社会生活各个领域，包括衣饰、音乐、美术、娱乐、建筑、语言等。
