全诗如下

清明时节雨纷纷，路上行人欲断魂。借问酒家何处有？牧童遥指杏花村。

这一天正是清明佳节。人小杜，在行路中间，可巧遇上了雨。清明，虽然是柳绿花红、春光明媚的时节，可也是气候容易发生变化的期间，常常赶上“闹天气”。远在梁代，就有人记载过：在清明前两天的寒食节，往往有“疾风甚雨”。若是正赶在清明这天下雨，还有个专名叫作“泼火雨”。诗人杜牧遇上的，正是这样一个日子。

诗人用“纷纷”两个字来形容那天的“泼火雨”，真是好极了。怎见得呢？“纷纷”，若是形容下雪，那该是大雪，所谓“纷纷扬扬，降下好一场大雪来”。但是临到雨，情况却正相反，那种叫人感到“纷纷”的，绝不是大雨，而是细雨。

1、清明唐·杜牧清明时节雨纷纷，路上行人欲断魂。借问酒家何处有? 牧童遥指杏花村。翻译：清明时节本该与亲友结伴踏青、祭祖扫墓，诗人却独自奔波在漫长的旅途上，孤单凄凉的感受可想而知。又遇春雨绵绵不绝，更增添了诗人的焦虑和惆怅，遂向牧童打听酒家的所在，牧童便指点着远处的杏花村。前两句令人愁肠寸断心神恻然，后两句则开拓出广阔的想象空间。全诗意境悠远、清新明快，留韵邈然、耐人寻味。 2、《寒食野望吟》唐·白居易乌啼鹊噪昏乔木，清明寒食谁家哭。风吹旷野纸钱飞，古墓垒垒春草绿。棠梨花映白杨树，尽是死生别离处。冥冥重泉哭不闻，萧萧暮雨人归去。翻译：寒食清明尤为崇尚的风俗是扫墓。寒食清明扫墓之风在唐代十分盛行。白居易的《寒食野望吟》诗描写了扫墓情形。乌啼鹊噪昏乔木，清明寒食谁家哭。风吹旷野纸钱飞，古墓垒垒春草绿。棠梨花映白杨树，尽是死生别离处。冥冥重泉哭不闻，萧萧暮雨人归去。”从这首诗中，不仅可以看出扫墓的凄凉悲惨情景，也可以看出唐代扫墓习俗中寒食与清明是一回事。的确，每当此时，一些漂泊异乡的诗人墨客，思乡之情油然而生。 3、《清明夜》唐·白居易好风胧月清明夜，碧砌红轩刺史家。独绕回廊行复歇，遥听弦管暗看花。翻译:《清明夜》是白居易的一首清明日外出踏青游玩的习俗。在古代，踏青又称“寻春”、“春禊”，晋代已盛。清明时节也是人们春游的大好时光，在春光明媚的清明前后，尽情地亲近自然，到郊外踏青游玩，这是清明节俗的另一项重要活动。目前普遍认为，这一项清明节俗是继承了形成于春秋末期的三月上巳节传统。上巳节的一项重要内容便是男女青年到野外踏青，自由择偶。但这首诗妙在未写清明的清冷。有它的自成一格，虽有清明，却意在纸外，写出怀春少女的幽情，一句“又是清明过了”，不禁让人要笑问：“可是愁嫁？”

清明时节雨纷纷，路上行人欲断魂。

借问酒家何处有？牧童遥指杏花村。

《清明》是唐代文学家杜牧的诗作。此诗写清明春雨中所见，色彩清淡，心境凄冷，历来广为传诵。第一句交代情景、环境、气氛；第二句写出了人物，显示了人物的凄迷纷乱的心境；第三句提出了如何摆脱这种心境的办法；第四句写答话带行动，是整篇的精彩所在。全诗运用由低而高、逐步上升、高潮顶点放在最后的手法，余韵邈然，耐人寻味。

此诗首见于南宋初年《锦绣万花谷》注明出唐诗，后依次见于《分门纂类唐宋时贤千家诗选》、明托名谢枋得《千家诗》、清康熙《御选唐诗》。《江南通志》载：杜牧任池州刺史时，曾经过金陵杏花村饮酒，诗中杏花村指此。
