我18岁了用英语的说法是I'm 18 years old。在翻译成英语的时候，一般情况下多用“基数词+year(s)+old”表示年龄，也可以直接用基数词表示年龄。基数词-year-old是复合形容词结构，在句中做定语，其中year用单数形式。
除此之外表示一个人具体的岁数时，可用“at the age of +基数词”，“at age+基数词”或“at +基数词“。其范例如下：

year表示“…岁的”时，其后通常要加old一词，此时year前后都须有连字符，且不可用复数形式。
years在表示“好几年”时，前面一般不加many。如果指几十年，甚至更长的时间，则不能用years。
year of之后往往不搭用年份的数目，除非前面有定语。
