Enrique的演唱以舞曲和情歌的交互并陈，当然是不可少的，「Seven」自然也不例外，在这张专辑中，深情和火热的歌曲，同样是市场需求的两大要素。专辑中的第一首歌曲Not in Love，用叙事方式呈现感官情欲的画面，最是流畅，而接着The Way You Touch Me、California Calling、Break me Shake、Be yourself中欢愉的节拍气氛、旋律和真假音转换，几乎都可以算是八○年代的英伦著名组合Human League、Wham、New Order乐风的重演，Live it up Tonight则有着已经单飞的Ronan时的风采，拉丁吉他只在Not in Love中间或出现，大量的英式舞曲演绎，成为这张专辑最为有趣的地方。 专辑中的主打抒情曲Addicted、中板抒情曲Wish You were Here(with me)尽管维持了一贯的流行水准，不论是逐渐铺陈出磅礴合声和旋乐编曲的旋律走势、和Enrique由弱而强的演唱方式，都和以往并没有太大的差别。但是这样的声音和节奏运用在唱「I’m not in love」时情感铺陈直接干净倒是很漂亮的效果，Enrique的嗓音明亮有力，虽然歌词不乏如The Way you Touch Me等具有些许挑逗性的歌词，由Enrique唱起来就算是性感也显得健康，虽然有时这样使得声音情感少了点细微的变化，但是自然天成的声音性感还是有相当的魅力，也是拉丁歌手常见的天赋优势。而这张专辑的英式舞曲风，搭配上他高亢的声音，也相当适合，大部分的歌曲，也大多配合了他声音的特质，并不会企图灌注太多复杂的情绪。 「Seven」是一张简易悦耳、做得也相当流畅的流行专辑，不需要花太多心思，就可以感受到旋律性和节拍的律动，Enrique的演唱虽然不算是有什么突破，也保持了相当的水准，听「Seven」这张专辑不会有太多的压力，如果不想藉由时下流行的不断反复电子节拍，而想利用复古的高旋律性歌曲和漂亮的嗓音来舞动身子，再交杂几首抒情歌曲来做调和，「Seven」提供了一种选择。
