include的英语

include、consist of 和 contain这三个词语都有“包含”的意思。具体的含义和使用语境是不同的。

1、Include

（1）Include 的意思是“包括在内，包含 ，其中有”， include 在英语中使用的频率非常高，通常指整体里的一部分。

例句：The price of the meal includes a drink.

套餐的价格包括一杯饮料。

（2）Include 还有一种含义是“把什么变成整体的一部分”

例句：We included Sam in the project.

我们让 Sam 参加这个项目了。

这里我们不能用 contain 或 consist of 来替代 include， 语法上是不通的。

2、Contain

（1）Contain有好几种含义，常用的意思是“里面有，包含，容纳”。

例句：The tin contains an assortment of chocolates.

盒子里有各种各样的巧克力。

（2）Contain 也可以用来突出主要部分，重要部分。

例句： The cake contains nuts.

这个蛋糕里有坚果。

（3）Contain 还可以表示“控制事态发展或扩张”。

例句：The fire brigade announced that the forest fire had been contained.

消防队宣布森林大火已被控制。

3、Consist of

Consist of 意思是“由......组成，有......在内，包括”，一般需要列出所有组成部分。

例句：The team consists of three British and two Australian players.

这个小组队由三个英国队员和两个澳大利亚队员组成。
