Sometimes, it is not effective to translate a sentence by substituting every word in it with the English version.As for the second sentence, you can simply say that "you might get deceived". cheat is not the word you wanna use in this case, because it describes the situation where somebody tells a lie to you. In addition, you can say that the bad accountant cheated the boss of his money. As for the word defraud, it is not suggested either because its useage is similar to the one occured in the example sentence that i mentioned hereinbefore, where an additional object is involved in the sentence.
