PS 其实吧，我觉得BBC把geek说成书呆子不太正确，geek只是‘呆’，跟‘书’没什么关系。bookworm这个词是‘书虫’的意思，形容人懂得多读得多，也没有呆的意思。似乎只有一个词‘pedant'比较准确一些。pedant: a person who is too interested in formal rules and small unimportant details. 这个词的涵义有一点书生气的执着含义。但这个词是贬义的。中文的’书呆子‘似乎没有贬义，只是表示一种称呼人对被称呼人的无奈。不管怎样，翻译本就不可能在语义上完全对等，geek, bookworm, pedant三个词你自己挑好了。
